What would you do if you test drove a car from a dealership with a blown brake line?

When it comes to cars I know my stuff I'm a ase certified tech and I've never bought a car from a dealer I have always bought from private party. There is a truck that is for sale in their lot and I looked at it and it had its typical problems. I asked if it was inspected he said yes so I assumed it was road worthy. I got in it and the pedal went to the floor slow. So I was thinking a bad master cylinder. The abs liggt was on and so was the break warning light. I pulled out the lot test drove it and I seen the lights were on and I pulled up on the emergency brake release to see if that was making the light come on. It wasn't. So I went back. I noted all the work I seen it needed and I low balled the guy he was asking 5 grand I offered 1500(I'm saving my back) so he says no and only goes down 300 bucks so I left him my name and number so as I was leaving I seen a puddle underneath of it and was wondering what it was.later on that night I went back to see what it was and come to find out the break line was blown. Do I go back and use it to my advantage to get the vehicle at a low price or do I not use it. My wife one year old daughter and I went to a popular resturant saturday. When we get there I get an attitude, we clean a dirty table ourselves, and on the way out my wife falls. There was a large puddle from i guess a spilt drink. My wife holding my one year old daughter slips on it. On her way down she lifts the baby up and trys to take on all the force for herself. After attention was arised, ut took roughly 5 minutes or so to place a wet floor sign. After this it took an additional 5 minutes or so to get a mop and that is only because I menrioned it.

I know how it feels to be worried about these things. But its ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry. You may need to just take a day to lay in the bath, cool down, relax, just lay in the bed, no bright lights or anything. It could be something like vertigo. But, I'm not a doctor, so i dont really know. If by any chance it is a tumor..the sooner your catch it, the easier it is to cure. So the longer you wait or put it off, its going to become more difficult to fix. But, I do really suggest that you see a doctor.

My little dog did this for two years. I usually brought her outside to meet people so she went out there. If she went inside I just let her know I was disapointed. I broke my lava lamp on my carpet. Luckily the glass part didn't break, but the pop came off and blue liquid spilled in what looked like a 20 inch puddle. I cleaned it up with a carpet cleaning vacuum/carpet shampooer, and blotted it afterwards with an old towel and threw it away. Hi, I have a single betta in a gallon tank. His water is at 72 degrees and Ive read that that is close to being too cold for my little guy. Have you ever dealt with being distinctly different from your family?

Does anyone else have a really awkward family situation? See I became a Muslim like a year ago but I still live with my parents and it’s just really awkward when we’re all out together because I wear hijab and fully cover myself but my mom wears shorts and tank tops so people are constantly staring at us and seem surprised when I call her mom. It’s the same with my step dad because we’re two completely different skin tones and simply look nothing alike. At least my mom and I look like each other in the face. Jenkins or the Her Royal Spyness series by Rhys Bowen etc. I love murder mysteries too (with a bit of romance), and I've lost all faith in books in the supernatural genre, so if there's something about forbidden love or whatnot, I probably won't like it :/

How much water should I drink daily?

I've heard of the standard "8 cups a day" but 64oz doesn't seem to cut it. I'm 6'4" 240lbs and I drink about an 8 ounce cup of coffee everyday and in the habit of adding salt to virtually everything I eat. I don't get as much vegetables like lettuce which are full of water as I probably should but I don't sweat much. The water just seems to go right through me regardless of how much I drink.

I have a pontiac grand AM year 1995, with a quad 4 engine, last night it was down pouring and I didn't relize how flooded the streets were, well let's just say the road had at least 2 feet of water from where I went through with my car, anyways, I did not relize how high the water was till I tried driving through it, and my car died, I then had it towed to my designation; I let it sit, but it still won't start, I tried jumping it to see if it was the battery, and it was not. I let it sit and charge for 10 minutes, but nothing, it still cranks over; but won't quite start, the battery isn't dead because my radio, lights, and everything still work, it just won't start? any ideas?

Belly Ring Healing time and cleaning?

Hi, I just got my belly button pierced about a week ago but I have a few questions. First off, the guy who did it pierced it with a plain stainless steel bar, he said as long as I do the salt soaks and keeping it clean, it should heel in a few weeks. I know a few other people who got theirs done at the same place and they said it actually did heal in a few weeks. But the Internet says months so I'm confused. Also I've been using bactine aside from the salt soaks but I heard that was bad so what kind of soap is good for it???

so, i had a dream last night.. me, my sister, my uncle, my cousin, & my grandfather (late) were in my old house.. we moved about 5 years ago. we were taking stuff out of my room & there was an elevator right outside my room, we decided to take that downstairs.. we had to put in a code for where you wanted to go. we put in the code for downstairs & the elevator kept going & we saw a map in front of us that landed in 7 different locations.. we had no clue where we were. we were all very worried because we couldn't find out a way to go back.. my uncle and i left the elevator to find out a way to go back and when we stepped out, we were in an abandoned children hospital & my grandfather, my sister, and my cousin were talking in the elevator & then all of a sudden we were in my basement of the house we live in now.. our carpet was very wet & someone jumped and our carpet was laid across really black water & there was a bunch of skinny, green, long snakes.. we were confused but i was the only one that was VERY scared & someone came in and said we have to eat them but i didn't have to.. a few people started grabbing a hand full of them & one snake kept hissing at me & tried to bite me but didn't.. i didn't even try moving away but i was really scared. and the girl sitting next to me ate the head off and ate the rest of the snake.. after that there was no snakes left & our basement was back to the way is was but we had a few puddles of water left.. what does all this mean? i really want to know!

My nose ring is infected.?

I went back to my piercer because i had a bump on the side of my nose ring and she took the nose ring out and cleaned the inside out because i had pieces of cu tips in it ( i didn't know i wasn't suppose to clean it with those, oops) then she popped the bump and she said all kind of puss was coming out. then she put the nose ring in which HURT LIKE HELL! it hurt worse then getting it pierced!!! i clean it with dial soap and but some of this stuff on it. how do i properly clean my nose ring ??? she also said DO NOT use water and sea salt (which i was doing).

Sewage smell is coming from the rooftop vent but?

I smell sewage in the front yard. I called the city and they checked their end. My friends said if my plumbing inside the house isn't back up then its probably not rooftop vent. Is that true?If I stand on the ground directly below the roof that where I smell it.If I walk away from that spot the smell stops. There are no puddle or wet spots in the yard. My 2 and 1/2 year old Maltese poodle has been drinking a lot of water and urinating a lot.?

I had a maltese purebred and was unable to train her, ever. I have trained many a dog before. Found out this is common with tiny breeds and that she came from a puppy mill. I would take her out, and she would go, but save a quarter size puddle just for inside. You didn't say if he is fixed or not. If he isn't, then male dogs scent. If he is fixed and this is new, he could be diabetic.

I dreamed two different dreams of snakes. What could it mean?

In the fist dream I was in a place where there was white sand and puddles of clear water. When I turned around I saw my son in one of the puddles and a snake was about to attack him, I tried to hit it with something and it was coming towards my face an I woke up frightened. Madden NFL 11 Help, Trading?

I am running a franchise with the NYJ, and I have a very solid player on all positions, I made salary cap, but I missed out on alot of free agent opportunities and reallly messed up my draft (I drafted RE in round 2 +3, I wanted a LE Round 3), then I simmmed through cutting down on players, and it cut everybody I drafted but two people! Every position is still good, but Kris Jenkins and Shawn Ellis retired so my D line is overall like 72. I am only willing to trade Bart Scott or, if the offer is right, David Harris, but otherwise I have nothing to give to other teams. The free agent list has nothing good whatsoever. Advice?

Does standing water and warm weather contribute to the presence of ticks?

We just discovered a couple of weeks ago that our dog has ticks. We live in an apartment complex in Chandler, AZ with a large grass area, the normal bushes and a shady area where the sprinkler/ drainage system doesn't work properly. This causes a puddle of water 6-8 in. deep that looks like a swamp. It takes anywhere from hours to days to drain and it refills whenever the apartment complex waters that area (1-2 times a day). Could this standing water be contributing to the tick problem we are having? And could this lead to other dangerous diseases for our dog?

How to cure a sore throat on a 5 year old NEED ANSWERS FAST!?

my little sister is 5 years old and has a harmful sore throat. It hurts when she swallows, eats, drinks, but not talking. She feels better once in a while but she says her throat still hurts. She was sick but still has a little fever. Everything else is cured except her throat. We have not been concerned enough to call the doctor but does anybody know some ways to help it? I gave her an ice pop to soothe the pain and she refuses to drink anything. We tried to give her a throat drop but she said it made it worse. She refuses to gargle with warm salt water either because she thinks it tastes "icky". Does anybody know ways to help the pain? How can i get my leopard gecko to eat mealworms and why is his poo runny sometimes?

ok he is around 1-2 months old just got him 3 weeks ago almost 4 and he was climing on stuff and enjoys his tank i believe he usually sleeps all day and eats and plays at night. his temps are 85 hot and 78 cool he is on paper towel.... he has had a few runny poos over the course of 4 weeks i would say 4-12 poo s have looked runny but i dont know how to tell if its runny its brown with a white spot and its like a puddle. all the parasite leopard geckos are very sickly and dont do anything mine eats drinks alot he had 3 wax worms in a week along with some crickets and im trying meal worms which brings me to my next question he hasnt touched the bowl of worms and doesnt seem curious when i slit one in half and pput it by his face.. how can i make him intrested. The pie shop always gave me the creeps at night after the customers have all left. Same ruetene everyday: wake up at five A.M., bake pies, butcher bodies, take Sweeney breakfast which he NEVER eats, go back downstairs, help serve pies, go back UPstairs, clean blood, (this was usually up to seventeen times a day) wash the stuborn blood out of shirts, serve more customers, clean shop, butcher more bodies. At nights since I'm an imsoniac, I sometimes go upstairs to talk with the serial killer himself. I never really liked the term 'imsomiac' it reminded me of some mental illness that get's you put in an asylum. Wait, I shouldn't joke about that since it actually happened to me. . . Twice. My brogues style heels clicked on the wood of the stairs. I let me hand slide along the banister until I reached the top. I always loved London with a passion. It held some sort of beauty that New York or L.A. Never had. I can't put my finger on it, but tonight the city was at it's best. The sky was semi-clear with a full moon. The rain that came in the afternoon left puddles on the dark stones of the streets that reflected the yellow glow of the street lamps that were actually lit for once. I also learned something interesting, in Spring, flowers are hung from the lamp posts. All of this compaired to the grubby gray London I was introduced to made me think the city itself had bipolar disorder. I latched my hand onto the door handle and pushed open the door. The little jingle of the bell seemed so out of place in the dark and gloomy barber shop. Like always, Mr. Todd was pacing back and forth infront of the huge window. i drive a 2005 ford crown victoria police interceptor, i got an oil change and rear diff change a couple days ago, i parked it in the driveway only pulling it out of the driveway i noticed a puddle of fluid on the driveway where my car was parked, but the puddle of fluid came from the rear of my car, more specifically it looks like its coming from my drivers side rear tire, from the inside, i went underneath to check and it looks like its coming from the inside of my break disc and spreading onto my tire, thus onto the ground and creating a puddle of clear fluid, i want to say its my break fluid, but if anyone can give me more insight to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated thanks

I just haven't been hungry today, I had a bag of ready salted crisps and that was it for 22 hours. Does it damage your health in some way, and will it help me lose weight? (I'm trying to lose some weight.) I told my teacher once that I skip breakfast and lunch and just eat when I get home at four and she was horrified, I thought that was really weird at the time.

My husband is on dialysis and I am getting confused as to the things he can not eat.?

He went into acute renal failure on Memorial Day (35y/o) He is now getting dialysis 3 times a week. We have spoken with the nutritionist there but from the lists she gave me to the lists on the kidney site for people with dialysis they differ greatly. Just one point is nuts. on the list of do not eat it says under high potassium no nuts/peanut butter. but I went to the kidney website for a dialysis menu and the snack said mixed nuts. So I am totally confused. They also told him to eat alot of protein/meats etc but all the menu's have chicken turkey etc. They also said to stay away from wheat based foods but in the breakfast they have wheat as part of a cereal mix. I am soo confused as to who I should listen to if you have any suggestions that would be great. He has other issues besides the kidney failure he also has pericarditis (fluid around the heart) a blood clot in his leg, and high blood pressure for which is is on medicine for all of these. but there was not restrictions in eating from them. well except for the salt but that is part of the dialysis do not eat anyways.

I had a nasty problem in class,please help it was so embarrassing what should i do?

I'm really embarrassed about what happened today in class. So Friday we had two hours classes and we can't go to the bathroom without a bathroom pass and I didn't have one, neither did anyone else. Then I begged my teacher but she said no, you need your bathroom pass in order to go to the bathroom. Then I had to get up to write out my work for one of the math problems and out of nowhere diarrhea starts to come out, dripping down my legs out of my skirt and a whole pile of it ended up on the floor. Everyone one was either laughing at my or saying ewww. It was really embarrasing. It got all over this really nice and shy girl and now I feel bad for her too. Sounds awesome! I'd definitely read that book. Great idea :D About never having finished a book, I've found that by starting story after story I get really good ideas. Besides, the more I write the more advanced I become, so when I finally finish a story I'll be a great writer. Don't worry about it too much, just keep writing. A very needed question about navel piercings?

Last weekend I got my navel pierced..On day 7, it stopped hurting and on day 8 it got a little tender but not like before.. I wash it with softsoap antibacterial each morning and night and I also use h2ocean purified salt water on it as recommended by my piercer so I do not think its infected and I have no symptons of infection. I also move it uo a little when I wash it so I dont get the crusties caught?Could it be the soap that made it tender?

We have had both of our cats (boy and girl) since they were 7 weeks old, they are 3 yrs old now. They always used their let box, but over the last few months we are finding doings and puddles around the house. My dad even caught the boy cat spraying the door panel once. We think its the boy more than the girl but with two cats its hard to give blame unless you catch them in the act. They go out side a few times a week, they have been allowed to play in the back yard since they were 1 yrs old. Why are they doing this and how do we stop it because my parents call me all the time saying that the cats are close to becoming outside cats. 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix AC condensation drain tube location?

I have a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix. I have been running the AC a lot and have been hearing water slosh around under the dash. Typically a puddle will form when the evaporator pan is draining properly, but in this case no puddle but the AC is working great. I have tried to locate the drain tube thinking it might be clogged but have no luck in finding it. Can you tell me were the tube is located or is the condensation taken care of by some other method that is not working correctly?

Gas fumes from car leak entered home, children inhaled?

I have to SUV's, one was parked in the driveway and the other in the garage. I was heading out in the one in the garage. Something I NEVER do, but did this time, was I turned on the truck in the garage with the garage door open. I then put my kiddos in their carseats, and went to move the truck in the driveway to the street. 2 minutes later I came back to the garage & smelled heavy gas. I immediately turned off the truck & noticed I had a LARGE gas leak. The gas leaked all over my garage floor. I took the kids out as fast as I could, and tried to turn the truck on again so I could back it out of the garage. Well, the truck wouldn't move! So now my truck is sitting in the garage (attached to my home) and there is a puddle of somewhat evaporated gas underneath it. Thankfully, the truck only leaks when turned on. So it's not leaking at this moment. I am alone with two kids and refuse to sleep with my garage door open because I'm too scared! So here's my question, or questions...is it okay that my kids inhaled gas for about 2 minutes? Is it okay that the gas fumes from the garage are slowly coming into my home? Am I gonna blow up or not wake up? I'm really freaking out right now and have to wait for a tow-truck early in the morning to get this vehicle to a mechanic. I'm super nervous, can't sleep, and want to make sure I don't do anything that will cause me to explode or make my kids retarded. Thanks!

Large puddle under my car/fluid all over inside?

I drive a 2002 mercury cougar and when i arrived at work today i noticed a large puddle of yellowish foam/liquid under my car. Upon inspection the stuff was sprayed all about the undercarriage as well. When i opened the hood the coolant reservoir cap was blown off but still intact and functional. Where it was there is a lot of the yelloy foam and the fluid was very low/almost out. I filled it with about 3 20oz water bottles and after the second one it stayed in the reservoir and none had leaked on the ground. Why am I not losing weight consuming 1000 calories a day?

That's probably what it is..Im on the Robert Ferguson's Food Lovers Fat Loss System, and the literature in it states that too much sodium can cause you to retain water, which adds weight..Then again, if you are eating more calories, without burning anymore than usual, that could cause you to faulter as well. If you don't burn more calories a day than you eat, then your body has no choice but to store them as fat. That's why I, personally, prefer to work out at night and burn off my excess from the day.

Post Surgery Uncontrollable Urine?

About 6 months ago my male Terrier got diagnosed with a bladder stone. We couldnt afford things at the time, so we had a charity vet do it for us. We took great care of him after surgery and if anything seemed wrong we went to the vet for check ups. He is doing great, very energetic. But I have noticed when laying down, he uncontrollably pees. I usually let him snuggle with me at night but now I wake up with urine stains all over my bed. He doesn't mean to do it. I take him on multiple daily walks. I don't know how to fix it other then doggie diapers. Is there any permanent way to fix it. (He doesn't seem to notice at all when he urinates. Just a puddles when he gets up)

Can I sue a hair stylist for damaging my hair? I went to the salon to get a cut and get highlights done. My color was suppose to be golden blonde and is now platinum blonde. But thats not it, she had me sit under the blow dryer with my bleach and foil still on for an hour while she had her big mac, served two customers, used the computer, and also cleaned a big puddle of water that was leaking from a machine. After she washed out my hair she told my hair was breaking and that it was my fault for bleaching my hair LAST YEAR! I was cryin when i seen how much hair had came out. Do you have a hose? You can take it outside and hose it off. You really should get one if you don't, because rats tend to be pretty messy and the walls/bars can have little bits of urine and feces on them even if you try to wipe it up. Nothing beats a good hosing. I usually take a scrubber brush and a big soapy bucket of water and scrub all my cages thoroughly then hose them back off and let them air dry.

I have lost about 30lbs since, and about 3 inches on my abdomen. I know all of the tricks, bath salts, prep-h, diuretics. Anything else that might help me? I was taped by my recruiter last week at 37" and I need to be under 38". I stick to a healthy diet and workout via Crossfit. I think I'll be fine but I'm just concerned about failing. Is there anyway I could quickly drop some inches around my abdomen\gain on my neck? THANKS!

Hi everyone :) Ok so my puppy is 8 months old. Hes a little maltese/poodle mix. He is potty trained as far as peeing goes-it took a while but he never pee`s inside anymore! yay Bentley! :) Anywho, A couple weeks ago I came home and Bentley greeted me at the door-well he peed from being excited which I was like ok ur just over excited, then i woke up the other morning and I don`t know if I just didnt move fast enough, but he pees near my guest bedroom...totally lifts his leg on the french doors. :( and leaves a stream of pee allll the way downstairs to the back door-and a puddle on the landing of the stairs. Then earlier today he ran over to me, jumped onto the couch and sat on me and completely peed ON ME! Which I thought was really unusual...like why would he do that/that happen? Then tonight-its late but I go to take him outside well books it downstairs and pees before I get there...and then he jumps on these pillows right next to the back door and pees on the pillows...I don`t know if somethings wrong with him, if hes drinking to much water and not properly potty trained? My Tank Sprayer Leaks?

I recently bought a Village Green 2 gallon pressure tank sprayer at Big Lots, item # GWR4206G. It leaks. So have many similar over the years, bought at different stores. When I put them in a bucket, 5 gallon or more, to stabilize them in my truck when I'm driving, I find a puddle of herbicide solution in the bucket. Over time, all the herbiced leaks out. It's messy. Just this morning, I left it only a few hours and there was an accumulation of herbicide in the bowl-lid on top. The sprayer tip was clipped on the side in an upright position, where it was supposed to be. I know these are cheap sprayers. Is this unavoidable, or is something not working the way it should?

How can I prevent so much water collecting in the bottom of our refrigerator?

I'll bet a quarter inch collects there every day, in a puddle beneath the vegetable crispers. I suppose it must be condensation. We lay a couple of thicknesses of towels in the bottom of the fridge and they get soaked and have to be wrung out every day. Since we're on the Gulf Coast where there is high humidity, maybe it has something to do with that ... but we haven't always had this problem. I tried turning the Cold setting up a couple of notches but it hasn't seemed to help. Any ideas or solutions?

If you are in puddles of urine then the health and safety people might want to get involved. After all, that is a bio-hazard. Your landlord must give you reasonable and safe living conditions and right now it sounds like he is not doing that. Beyond that, move. He has in a word given you permission. I would go with chicken fajitas. Slice the chicken into thin strips & saute in a bit of olive oil over med-high heat until golden & cooked through (you can cook some veggies like peppers and onions with the chicken at this point too). I would add some spices like garlic, chili powder, oregano, etc... as the chicken is cooking as well, and probably the green chilis too! As the chicken is cooking, slightly warm the tortillas. Make the fajitas by placing a scoop of the chicken mixture in the middle of a warmed tortilla, top with cheese (if desired... could also use sour cream, salsa...), and rolling it up. Bon appetit!

I'm sixteen; so i'm not real old but when my bestfriend and I were growing up; first grade to the middle of ninth grade we were real close. Until we both got boyfriends, but my relationship lasted and hers didn't. I've been with my boyfriend for a year and seven months. Lately i've been wondering if its normal to lose a close friendship because of having a relationship. I love her and I love him as well. But I find myself seeing him alot more than I see her so far this summer, i'm with him probably three times a week and i'm only with her once or she stays all weekend with me at my cabin or salt lake or my aunt. I will always be there for her, but I know she hates my relationship and she doesn't like my boyfriend either. I can't even have them into the same room without him joking with her and her having a fit. I don't blame her not to like him, and I honestly don't care. But I feel like she's only there for me when my boyfriend and I fight or one time we tried to take a break because we were fighting pretty badly that week and I felt she was there for me that week than she was there for me since before I was dating him. I just find myself wanting to just be with him and my family, and I feel like he's my bestfriend because he's always there for me now. Is this normal? Or should I try to be with her more often?
