Book recommedations (read description)?

I want to read something funny. Something like the book Kitty Kitty by Michele Jaffe or Repossessed by A.M. Jenkins or the Her Royal Spyness series by Rhys Bowen etc. I love murder mysteries too (with a bit of romance), and I've lost all faith in books in the supernatural genre, so if there's something about forbidden love or whatnot, I probably won't like it :/
