My G2 touch screen wont work? possibly got wet?

i was working in the rain and it was in my pocket the whole time, my pants did get wet but i wouldn't think enough to get in the phone(its not like it fell in a puddle or something), any ways my phones screen works, i can see everything on it but the touch part does not. Did it possibly get water damage?? how can i fix?
