How much would a ps1 sell for?

After dropping my sisters ps3 controller into a puddle of water i'm confident that it won't work anymore. And since im completely broke i have no money to go out and buy a new one. SO i have a ps1 system ( in great condition) that i can sell at this really good place that gives you back a high amount of money for games and movies. Last time i sold something they gave me 20 bucks back for only 4 games that were extremely old. I believe the store is called "Game Xchange" or something like that. Anyone have advice on how many games i should sell and how much a ps1 system sells for? I'm trying to buy a used ps3 controller which is $45 dollars. Thank you :D
